Award-winning craft spirits producer Prohibition Distillery announces its rebrand to Do Good Spirits. Located in Roscoe, NY, Prohibition was established in 2009 as an ode to America’s bootlegging heritage. The new name encapsulates the distillery’s simple, yet powerful, core mission and ethos: “Do Good.”

Facquet went on to say “At the outset of the pandemic our New York Distillers pivoted to manufacturing hand sanitizer to protect our communities. This required many of our members to halt production of distilled spirits, while the rest of the alcohol industry was reporting record sales. We are proud to have done our part,

Founder and Head Distiller Brian Facquet initially started the distillery under the name Prohibition Distillery in 2009 in Roscoe, New York. After serving in the Navy, Facquet was working in human resource technology when he started developing an interest in making his own vodka.

New York’s Do Good Spirits, however, adds a little something extra in its Beaverkill Bourbon Cream: locally sourced maple syrup. “I made our recipe using the products that I had on hand from what I consider the best producers in New York State: Bootlegger New York Craft Bourbon, cream from the Finger Lakes...
