We took our inspiration from the classic London dry gins which use a traditional maceration process and a simple blend of botanicals. With a nod to the past, we created a new classic. Bootlegger New York Craft Gin uses only five botanicals, juniper, orris root, coriander, lemon verbena, and bitter orange peels.
We steep the botanicals in our base neutral spirit made from 100% corn, before carefully redistilling them in our pot still. Our base spirit is used for our award-winning Bootlegger New York Craft Vodka and our Gin. The resulting spirit is blended down to 94 proof for bottling using the finest Catskill Mountain water.
